Rangel Guzman is an emerging musical theatre performer from Houston, TX ready to take the world by storm! His performance journey began in the church choir singing alongside his mom and within his traditional Dominican family. Rangel is a recent graduate of Pasadena Memorial HS and a new addition to the University of Michigan BFA Musical Theatre Class of 2030! Some of his favorite credits include Gomez Addams (The Addams Family), Jamie (American Game), Trunchbull (Matilda), and Davey (Newsies).

Recently, Guzman was seen as Agatha Trunchbull in Matilda at the Tommy Tune Awards, Houston, TX, where he was named Best Actor in a Musical and became a Jimmy Awards nominee. He is ready to head to New York City and thrilled to perform on the Minskoff Theatre stage.

At Pasadena Memorial High School, Rangel was a leader within the Maverick Theatre department under Natalie Dommer. He also trained at the TUTS Humphreys School of Musical Theatre under Laura Peete. When not performing, you can catch Rangel reading, designing digital clothing, creating online Instagram and TikTok content, manifesting in his notes app, and redoing his room for the hundredth time.
